Anna Bligh well clear in South Brisbane
Last night, ReachTEL conducted a poll of 339 residents into the electorate held by the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh. We asked a series of questions including primary vote intentions, a forced choice question between two candidates and leader performance ratings.
The polling was conducted using our fully automated voice broadcast market research capabilities. This gives us the ability to have audited research results back in our customer's hands in literally hours instead of days or even weeks.

Key findings:
• The ALP and LNP are neck-and-neck in the primary vote with only 1.2 percentage points splitting them.
• A very strong Green vote gives Anna Bligh a safe margin of 13.7% on the forced choice question.
• When rating the performance of the leaders, more people give Anna Bligh an overall good rating than Campbell Newman – 39.3% versus 30.0%.

This survey was conducted using an automated telephone based survey system among 339 voters. Telephone numbers and the person within the household were selected at random. The results have been weighted by gender and age to reflect the population according to ABS figures.
