Last night, ReachTEL conducted a poll of 339 residents into the electorate held by the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh. We asked a series of questions including primary vote intentions, a forced choice question between two candidates and leader performance ratings.
Brisbane Lions use Voice Broadcast in Victoria
The Brisbane Lions had their last away game on Sunday at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. It was an important game for the Lions and to add to the excitement, the match also marked Brownies 200th game!
With the Lions last away game being in Melbourne, home of a huge supporter base the Lions contacted ReachTEL mid-week to ask if we could deliver a Voice Broadcast to all Victoria members drumming up support. We were even more thrilled to hear that Brownie himself would be recording the message.
It took Brownie just three minutes using our dial-in recording facility to record a perfect take. Our Audio Engineers then edited the message, sent it to Lions HQ for approval and it was delivered the following morning.
The 33 second message was delivered to over 61% of members home and mobile telephones on just one day. The response was so great that some members rang up asking for the message to be sent to their messagebank so they could keep it!
At the full time siren the Brisbane Lions were victorious with Brownie having a sterling game kicking four goals! The Lions play their last home game this weekend against the Swans and if your a QLD Lions member, keep your phone close by.......
The exceptional delivery rate and reception from members once again proves that Voice Broadcast is a fresh and unique communications medium.
In summary - GO LIONS!!
