Sydney by-election neck and neck

ReachTEL conducted a six-question survey of residents in the New South Wales State electorate of Sydney. The survey was conducted the night of 26th September 2012.

 

Sample = 422

 

Question 1:

If a State election were held today and Independent Clover Moore was not running, which of the following would receive your first preference vote, if you are undecided to which do you have even a slight leaning?

 

 

Shayne Mallard - Liberal

30.6%

Chris Harris – The Greens

25.4%

Alex Greenwich - Independent

31.4%

Other

12.5%

 

This survey was conducted using an automated telephone based survey system among 422 voters. Telephone numbers and the person within the household were selected at random. The results have been weighted by gender and age to reflect the population according to ABS figures.
