ReachTEL conducted a five-question survey of 2,856 residents across Australia on the night of 3rd May 2013.
Leading AFL club uses ReachTEL to drive membership
The Melbourne Demons have again turned to voice broadcast technology to drive those last minute club memberships renewals. Using the familiar Irish voice of former club president Jim Stynes, the club engaged ReachTEL to get in contact with non-renewing members just hours before the official kick-off of the AFL season.
The whole campaign was put together in a matter of hours with Jim only having to take 15 minutes out of his day to record the message via our remote phone in recording facility. ReachTEL audio engineers were then able to cut together a perfect recording backed by the clubs song "It's a Grand Old Flag".
Over just two days we were able to contact an amazing 82% of the clubs non-renewed members and encouraged them to hit the website or call into the membership team. As part of each call, members were also able to transfer through to the club and renew then and there. When compared with filling out and posting a form members can complete the whole process in a number of minutes.
The entire cost for the campaign was significantly less than the price of a postage stamp per member and delivered an incredibly strong result. Congratulations again to the Melbourne Demons and good luck this year!
