Ditch the Premium number
Our many years of experience has shown us that premium number (190 xxx xxx) based SMS campaigns receive a significantly lower response rate than standard mobile entry numbers (04xx xxx xxx). Potential competition entrants are blocking premium number services due to an increasing number of ringtone and adult content mobile scams. In addition to this, many corporate mobile services have premium number services blocked by default. Competition entrants can also be turned away by the 55 cent entry fee whereas standard mobile entry numbers may be included free as part of a cap plan. All ReachTEL SMS competitions are run using standard mobile entry numbers.
