Reports in the media today about ReachTEL conducting a poll on asset sales are untrue.

ReachTEL was commissioned by Together Queensland to contact residents in a number of State electorates asking people to register their interest in campaigns to be conducted by the union. This campaign was conducted purely as a register of interest for the unions campaign modelling and was not a research piece.

Call recipients were made aware that the call was from Together.

As this wasn't a market research campaign, no demographic questions were asked and the data was returned to the customer unweighted. The data was not subject to the usual rigorous quality controls that commissioned ReachTEL research polls are put through. It is therefore statistically inaccurate to draw any conclusions from the underlying data.

All publicly released polls can be verified on the ReachTEL blog - http://www.ReachTEL.com.au/blog.
